1. Lawful, accurate, kind

Use Verifyr only for purposes that are lawful in your country and that respect the rights of others, including their data-protection rights.

2. Don’t misrepresent our output

You may not present a Verifyr verdict as a “quality guarantee” or “certification” when reselling items. Verifyr is not a product certification.

You may not use a Verifyr report as standalone evidence in product-liability proceedings, recall disputes, or insurance claims. It is consumer guidance, not a forensic test.

3. Safety-critical items

Safety-critical items (child seats, helmets, climbing gear, emergency tools, medical devices) must be evaluated by a certified inspector. Treat any Verifyr verdict on these as background reading only.

4. Abuse, scraping, automation

Don’t attempt to bypass rate limits, run automated scraping, or use the service to build a competing product.

Don’t upload content that contains other people’s faces or private information without their consent.

5. Enforcement

Breach of this policy can lead to feature suspension, account termination, refusal to issue refunds, and — for serious cases — referral to law enforcement.
